The SmartBase MPC400 offers a superb print speed of up to 17ppm (mono) and 12ppm (colour). To ensure both speed and quality the SmartBase MPC400 uses Canon’s Microfine Droplet Technology™ , "true" 2400 x 1200 dpi print resolution and vibrant High Colour inks. In addition to this the use of Single Ink technology ensures both economy and ease of use.
 
This technology also means that the SmartBase MPC400 is able to offer fast, high quality colour copying at 1200 x 1200 dpi, 17cpm (mono) and 10 cpm (colour). Features such as 25-400% reduction and enlargement, auto exposure and digital copying options ensure that the SmartBase MPC400 gives maximum versatility as a colour copier.
 
The flatbed scanning function on the SmartBase MPC400 enables versatile scanning e.g. books, magazines, clippings and stapled or bound documents. The 9600 dpi enhance resolution is able to pick out even the fine detail on your documents or photos.
 
Last but not least, the new "MultiPASS" software has been redesigned to take up less room on your PC, and has the addition of a number of key features such as one touch scan to save and 3 custom tabs. The MultiPASS software supports all Windows applications from Windows 95 to XP.
