Colour when you need it
By analysing your source documents and files, the
iR5870C/Ci automatically determines which are in colour
and prints or copies them accordingly. So you only pay
for colour when you use it.
Intelligence to complement yours
With in-built ID management, you can specify which users
print in colour and how much, providing controlled,
secure access to the machine. Additional applications
such as Netspot Accountant MEAP enable you to accurately
assess usage and costs by user, group or department.
Plus, the iR5870C/Ci also provides secure internet
access directly at the device!
Designed to match your needs
The iR5870Ci runs at 58ppm in black and white and 16ppm
in colour and comes fully network-ready with a built-in
PS/PCL/UFR II printer kit and Universal Send and Fax an
an optional extra. Alternatively, the iR5870C copier can
be connected to the EFI Print Controller to offer true
postscript handling. Scan and send capabilities are
always an option.
Productivity with control
A large colour menu-driven touch-screen provides simple
control whilst an express copy feature speeds up access
to more complex jobs. Remote access is just as easy
using a web-browser.
In addition to automatic collation, hole punching and
variable position stapling, users can choose from an
impressive range of finishes, even producing
professional, colour saddle-stitched booklets.
Future proof investment
With MEAP (Multifunctional Embedded Application
Platform), Canon's device-embedded Java based
application platform, new and customised software can be
incorporated directly within the device on-site.
